Senior Partner
Ruth is an experienced family law attorney with over 45 years of practice. She handles matters including pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, uncontested separations and divorces, family business transactions, and disputes involving real and personal property. In addition, Ruth practices estate planning, trust and probate law, conservatorships, and guardianships, and assists clients with business formation, including incorporating or creating limited liability companies.
Ruth is highly regarded throughout Los Angeles and Ventura Counties and has been invited by the Ventura Superior Court to serve as Judge Pro Tem in both family law and probate courts.
Active in the community, Ruth has served on multiple boards, including the Board of Directors of Hospice of Conejo (1988–1993; Secretary 1991–1993), East County Bar Association (1994–1996; President 1995), Education Television of the Conejo (1996–1998), and the Estate Planning, Trust, and Probate Law section of the Ventura County Bar Association (2004–2022).
Ruth received her undergraduate degree from San Francisco State University (1974) and her law degree from Hastings College of the Law (1977), now UC College of the Law, San Francisco.
